Spiritual People and Halloween

Ephesians 6:12, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

When we come to Christ thorough repentance, and are born again, it is a supernatural event. We are born again spiritually.

John 3:3, Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

Our lives in Christ are spiritual, not natural.

As Christians, why do we want to make excuses about participating in Halloween? It isn’t just a night of dressing up in a costume. It is making a choice to align with darkness. Even if its just one night. If at some point in your walk with Christ you knowingly choose to do what was wrong it wasn’t okay. How did it make you feel, and did you suffer consequences?

The Bible says, God will not be mocked, what you sow, you will reap. (Galatians 6:7)

Do you want to sow into spirtual darkness, demonic tormenting fear? Our lives are lived in the spirit and when we sow into the dark spiritual world we reap the consequences.

1 Corinthians 2: 9-10 (AMPC)

But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, (all that) God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him (who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed.)

10) Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the (Holy) Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God (the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scutiny).
